Originally started as an all-purpose Media Designer, with focus on Digital Experiences and Artistic Experimentation, I turned programmer in 2017; First as the usual artist script-kiddie. But I quickly realized that coding produced a high level of dopamine. So I devoured programming books, videos, talks and read many community discussions. What started as Medium is the Message now turned into I have to compile the Medium first--But then it is mine, to do my bidding however I want, whenever I want, I AM UNSTOPPABLE! Buahahahahah. This blog...
...is a by-product of that transformation.
Hi I am Seb, and I am addicted to Abstraction. So let's talk about it--or send Help.
I really really really like to bridge the gap between creative processes and Tech whenever I can. And I like to think about it, and to write about it. So I hope you like to read about it.
What can I offer you and who is this for?
Let's see,
I have some personal stuff
My Experience with Cursor
Programming like I was playing Starcraft
How I became a creative technologist and what role abstraction played in it
What I do
I have some technical write-ups on working on or analyzing systems for creative purposes:
Analyzing Samplers and Schedulers for ComfyUI in Latent Diffusion Workflows
Implementing a procedural Movement system inspired by WFC in Unity
Something I wrote for people like me to understand techy stuff:
Mathematical Notation for working Creative Technologists
My Attempt to explain a Monad
To understand Recursion one must first understand Recursion
Some esoteric or whimsical things which put into words my convoluted mind
The beauty of Singing - From Abstraction to Emergence
Fighting Games and Music
The Blueprint of Action - On Strategy, Plan, and Tactics
Wow that is so Meta
The Elusive Nature of Art
A lot, and I mean a lot about programming in general...
What even is a programming language
How functional programming architecture works
Syntax, Semantics and Power of Expression
Classes as Functions and Functions as Objects
Abstraction is the bridge between algorithms and architecture
...And beyond with my Opus Magnum
